The "Big Easy" has been unsettled...

New Orleans has been devastated by hurricane Katrina. My thoughts go out to those that live there. I did some growing up and went to school in New Orleans (8 years). I have lost contact with most of my friends there but I have many fond memories. I hope that they will reclaim what has always been so great about that city....

Just when I thought it was spring. I woke up this morning to find a dusting of snow in our backyard. It's not much but it's kind of neat....

Winter you say???

It's supposed to be winter here but this bush in our backed yard says no... I'm also filling in because I have not posted for a while. Anyway Enjoy....

It snowed up on the mountain this weekend and we were like a bunch of kids! The winter has been quite mild this year and this is only the second time this winter that we've had some snow on the mountain. Anyway, fun was had by all!!!
