We will miss you Dorothy Zbornak.
A look at life around me and seeing what is "normal"

I know you miss me...
...and I miss you. My life right now is consumed with looking for work. That's right I still have not found someone who will take pity on my soul and offer me gainful employment. I just keep moving forward as I'm not a quitter but I will have to be honest there have been moments. I don't know what I'm doing wrong if anything. Everyone keeps telling me that it's the economy and that everyone is having the same problem. If that is true then the world is really messed up. I sort of knew that. So anyway, this is a lame post to say how lame I am for not posting because as I've said before and I know it to be true, "I know how so many of you can't start a day without a good post from yours truly". And to those of you that fall into that category I apologise because let it be known that I do not want to be responsible for any one else's problems because as you can see I have enough of my own. In the end, hopefully this bit of dry paste and drivel will satisfy those few that really do live and breathe their life through this post, and to those I say bless you my child and get some help. Maybe I need the help? Until next time enjoy...
(For those of you visiting for the first time please be aware that I am not crazy. I'm just extremely flat at the moment, but if you can wait, I'll be back soon. So, I suggest that you keep checking back as the posts will soon be so brilliant you'll ask yourself "Why haven't I been reading this blog sooner" ...and to the rest of you "Thanks for reading and staying with me")

April 12 of 12....
Well, here is my 12 of 12 for the month of April. If you don't know what 12 of 12 is about you kind find out more from the originator's blog. This is my second 12 of 12 and I really enjoy taking the photos from my day. I hope you enjoy this months photos. I'm not half as good as some of the other participants but I think with practice I'll get better. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my April 12 of 12...
Looking for my breakfast and there's not a lot in the fridge. I think I need to go to the store.
I went for a walk into the city and took a few shots. this tower sit atop the Australia Post Building.
Iron work around the bottom of a light at the front of a building
The iron work fence in front of the same building.
A bit of modern art outside a contemporary building or else they forgot to take down their Christmas decorations.
These two brass penguins are part of a bigger exhibit but I think they were the best photo out of the three that I took. We have a lot of penguin and sea lion sculptures around town. The reason behind all of them is because we serve as one of the ports for ships that sail to the Antarctic.
Just one of the very old taverns that are still serving alcoholic refreshments for over 100 years plus. Check out the date on the bottom right side of the sign.
A bit of graffiti for your viewing pleasure. Every city has it and our city is no exception.
The sign on the door of a local restaurant near our house. The restaurant is called the "Pigeon Hole", and is aptly named because it sits at the edge of a far bigger store which takes up more than 3/4 of the whole building that it shares, thus leaving the restaurant with a Pigeon Hole for it's space. I've never eaten at the place but I've heard it's really very good.
The pears were sitting on an old table at the "Pigeon Hole" restaurant. I took the picture through the window.
Happy Easter!
and good night...

In between job searches...
I figured that in between job searches I might as well have some fun. So, as you can see we have new layout and a new header. The new banner photo of course reflects the fact that we are into the autumn months here in the land down under. We just flipped back out of Daylight Savings Time so it is darker at the house by 5-5:30 but at least the morning is a bit brighter by 6-6:30.
The layout isn't all that different but I've added a few things like the little news reader at the bottom and a quote if the day on the side as well a a novelty of recipes from Oz. I'm not sure how Australian the recipes will be. I'll have to watch it for a few days and if seem to be a bit daggy then I'll get rid of it. Other than that same ol' same ol'. Keeps your eyes opened as I may be adding a few more bibs and bobs. Until then Enjoy...

Looking ahead....
Well it's Monday and I'm looking at the beginning of a new job search week. I want to thank everyone with there encourage comments and emails. I really appreciate all of you! I need that encouragement for later in the week as it seems believe it or not i have a new interview. This time a totally different job. all the other interviews have ended empty and in the trash bin. This on will be on Thursday and it's with the the Department of Health and Human Services Disability Services division. It's a position for a project coordinator which is right up my alley. So I'm not going to say anymore and I've probably already said to much but here's to Thursday and until then I keep filling out these selection criterion.
