12 of 12 January 2011

Well, here it is a brand new year and the start of new monthly 12 of 12 photos. This month I've gone with the theme of guess what the photo is. So take your best shot and at the same time I hope you like the photos as they are I need to thank the man who started 12 of 12 and you can visit his site here. In the next few days I'll show you the larger photos and explain what the are. So, on with the photos. Enjoy...

This may be an easy one...

Again possibly an easy one

Part of a much bigger item...

This should be really easy...

I guess a lot of these should be fairly easy but some will be harder...

Go ahead guess...

Hmm, what eve could it be ...

Once again part of a much larger thing...

Kind of pretty isn't it...

Another pretty one that's part of a larger item that I'm sure you will never guess what it is...

This should be easy or maybe not...

This isn't what you think it is...

Well that's all for this month I hope you enjoyed this month's photo's and I will see you next month with another batch of 12 of 12 photos

Thank you for your comment!
I like your pictures, what a great idea to only show details and then try to guess what it is! And thanks for sharing!

Hmm...

Most intriguing...

The blue bubbled glassware seems very similar to a hiball glass I purchased from Ikea a few years ago?

Am I warm?

nice greets from germany, yvonne

That's so cryptic-what a clever tease.
Well there's a vase (or a glass) a bit of a sofa/cushion some hand painted wallpaper, stair handrail, a microwave? touch pad, and I have no clue as to what the odd orange pipe thing is!
Great angles on everyday objects!
Be back in February! Sus

Nice guess Xander, but that's not what is is. It is glass and it is handblown but definitely not a drinking glass. You can try again if you like...

Neat concept! I think I can get about half.

What an interesting concept, TJ. Fun photos that make one think. I'm seeing pressboard binders, a bottle stopper, either upholstery fabric or a plastic embossed table cloth or wallpaper, a microwave panel, staircase, some drippy aluminum (or a stylized vase of some sort), maybe a fan cover, maybe shower tiles (but the grout seems to be sticking out) ----oops, I lost my page and Firefox isn't giving it back. I love the blue marbled looking thing....maybe the bottom of a vase.... All in all, a very fun 12. See you next month.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. For those of you who trie to guess what some of the photos were, I have to say that several of the guesses were not far off if not right. As I said in the post, in the next few days I'll post the full pictures to see for your selves what the partial photos are a apart of...

Nice idea to try something new, Tony! It's nice to have an eye for details. I'd guess the same as most people so far, actually ;-)

Sorry I'm late commenting - my January 12 was late up, as were my November, December and end of year review ones! Better late than never though with photos...
