12 of 12 for August 2010

Hello there all of you 12 of 12 fans. Yes, it's that time of the month again and I once again will try to entertain you with my photographic expertise or at least give you something to laugh about. As usual I have to give major credit for the 12 of 12 project. If it was not for the ingenuity of this man we would not have so many people each month taking part in this international photographic exhibition/experience. Anyway enough with the chatter I took these pictures around where we currently reside. So with no further adieu I give you the 12 of 12 for August 2010. Enjoy... (I hope)

Good morning with a self portrait

Hubby always brings me a Chai Latte in the mornings right after he has completed a 10 hour shift in the ER saving lives and stuff like that. He is so sweet.

Just a pretty flower to start my walk

Anyone want to go fishing?

Can you guess what this one is or what the symbol stands for?

How about putting your thinking caps one for this one too.

Just a pretty shot of the ocean and the ongoing fight between it and the land

Just a sign cut out of sandstone celebrating the beaches surf lifesavers.

A palm tree growing along with its fruit or should I say dates

The beautiful layers of the rack/sandstone. Amazing what nature and how it creates beautiful pictures without even trying

Shadow, shadow on the wall

Beehive Bovine and French Moodle are off to do a bit of shopping again...

Well that's it for ths month. I my post some thing here again before next months 12 of 12 but I'm not promising any thing I will definitely see you next time around. Take care one and all...

Tony, I adore your photos. You are so lucky to be able to go out and take a pic of the ocean. My favs: the shadow on the wall and that ponk caniche...kind of looks like Dame Edna.

Hello Tony,
it was so nice to see you in my comments which leads back the way to your 12 of 12s. I am too absolutely in love with chai latte. But I make it myself for my husband every monday morning for his drive to work. It is a 4 hour drive and the chai keeps him awake and alert without the effects too much caffeine can have. Your photos are wonderful. The pink poodle is my favourite but the shadow on the wall too. I guess I like all of them in one way or the other. Keep on shooting. I'll see you next month. Take care.

Some lovely artistic shots as usual!
You would love it here so many symmetry and infinity shots with date palms-yes I recognised yours!

The sea looked rough, well I guess it is your winter and it is prime surf country!

Nice to visit anyway. see you next month!

I have no idea what the mystery pictures are of... but I like them!

That seaside photo is gorgeous, too!

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tony, there are some really nicely composed shots (as always) this month, particularly the one of the ocean.

Chai Latte's go down at the better when brought with love. See you next time :)

i remeber back to the days i was working the graveyard shift, when me and many of my colleagues would head out to a local restaurant and eat dinner while other customers stared at us while munching on their toasts and eggs...
:D~

i'm not keen on baits but i've never said no to tcakling (football!!)...
;)~

your mystery pics intrigue me but i'll let others wrack their brains out. it's getting late and i'm tired. but they are pleasant to see, even if i'm clueless about them.

the surf...
i could sit there and watch that for hours. beautiful!!

love the stone, nature is indeed a wondrous thing.
love the cows and i suspect a friend of mine would like them too!!

nicely done, man!!
see you next month and keep well!!
:)~

And the sea. And the sandstone. And the shadow on the wall. Well, all your pictures are very nice! Even the mysterious ones that I'm afraid will stay mysterious to me!

I love the sandstone picture. It would be great to have tiles that like in my kitchen or bathroom! Nice 12 of 12.

I love the cows, I saw a couple when Cow Parade was in Manchester, years ago. We had Elephant Parade in London recently, so I went looking for them all!

And drinks bought with love = the best!
